CHINA BLUE takes us inside a sweatshop in Shaxi, China, where blue jeans are manufactured for the global market. We see the factory's inner workings, from the factory floor and worker dorms to management meetings and negotiations with Western buyers. Focusing on the factory's teenage workers, CHINA BLUE shows us how the clothes we buy are actually made.

Directed by Micha X. Peled

88 mins. (presented with English subtitles)

The film will be introduced by Stanley Rosen, Director of the East Asian Studies Center and Professor of Political Science. A brief Q & A session will follow the screening.
