The 15th annual conference is schedule to be held at the University of Texas-Austin on June 26-28, 2009. The main theme of this year's conference is Locating Taiwang: Space, Culture, and Society, and the three minor themes are: (a) Regionalism and Nationalism in Taiwan’s Context; (b) Eco-Politics in Taiwan; and (c)Identity and Hybridity in Cultural Spheres. This year, we are honored to have invited Sergio Palleroni, and internationally renowed Professor and Fellow of the Center for Sustainable Practices and Processes in architectureat Portland State University, to give a speech on the topic of space, culture, and society. The registration for conference participants is open online from March 1 to May 15, 2009. A conference program and panel organization will be released in late May.
