Each spring, during the Chinese New Year, millions of migrant factory workers leave their jobs on the prosperous eastern coast to visit the rural villages they call home. Last Train Home tells the story of one particular migrant family, the Zhangs, as they deal with the ruptures this annual migration creates in their family.
