To enter into unfamiliar territory has always been a source of excitement for me, and an impetus to creation. I probe to discover the objective of the artist in the era of globalization, using the performance format to enter into the “landscape” of foreign lands. Is this a worthless act because of the unreachability of either shore? Or is it a collective discovery of a necessary path, given that humanity is confronted with the situation where it is difficult to distinguish between you and me? The answer is shaped through repeated efforts at communication. Interventions are an effective way to promote contact. It doesn’t matter if they turn out good or bad—we are together.
