GLOBAL EXCHANGE WORKSHOP
(CTPR 515, 2 units), 7 weeks
May 26 thru July 10, 2015 in Los Angeles in the School of Cinematic Arts.
USC’s School of Cinematic Arts selects 8 USC students to work with 8 Chinese students flying in from the Communication University of China in Beijing. Each USC student will be paired with a student from CUC, and each pair will work together to make a 10 to 15 minute documentary on Los Angeles as a global city.
Students learn and refine their documentary filmmaking skills under the leadership of documentary filmmakers and professors from USC and China’s CUC Film School.
