Electroacoustic Music Works in EAMC of Shanghai Conservatory: Zhou Qian, Composer Colloquium Series

Qian ZHOU graduated from Composition Dept. and Piano Dept. of SHCM，and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). She composed works for Western orchestra, ensemble, Chinese instruments and electronic music, and conducted research on music analysis. Her articles have been published in many academic journals. She cooperated with INA-GRM of Radio France, University de Paris Sorbonne, Hamburg Music and Theatre Hochschule, ZKM, TU Berlin,Taiwan Normal University, NYU etc. She was invited to have lectures and her works have been performed frequently. Now she is the member of the National Dominant Electro-acoustic Research Program supported by Chinese Central Ministry of Finance. And she was awarded the fellowship of the Advanced Research Project supported by Shanghai Education Committee (2012). ZHOU is the Visiting Scholar of the Center for New Music and Audio Technologies (CNMAT) at UC Berkeley (2012-2013).
