Excerpts from the new opera by composer Huang Ruo, who will be joined by 4 singers and 11 musicians. The program will include commentary by Orville Schell, Arthur Ross Director of the Center on U.S.-China Relations, on the historical significance of Sun Yat-Sen, and an interview on the creation of the piece with Huang Ruo by Rachel Cooper, Asia Society Director, Cultural Programs and Performing Arts.
