Cornell university Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art presents the exhibition "Demonic Divine". The exhibition explores the ferocious deities whose overwhelming power is believed to aid in the journey of transformation to the enlightened mind. Visually dramatic, these sacred paintings and sculptures, spanning six hundred years of tradition, serve protective and beneficent roles in Tibetan Buddhism, as well as the region’s native religion called Bon.
