Death Education is a relative new concept in Hong Kong Chinese community. An elective broadening course on death and dying for undergraduates at the University of Hong Kong is developed in 2006. Ever since the first offer of this course, it is unexpectedly well received by students. Join us for a discussion on the process of developing the course content and student learning outcomes.
Amy Chow, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in Department of Social Work and Social Administration, the University of Hong Kong. She is a registered social worker with
the specialization in bereavement counseling. Her achievement in bereavement research is well recognized locally and internationally.
