China is positioned to take over the EU as Latin America's second largest trading partner. The July visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping demonstrates a maturing relationship with the region that deepens and extends beyond commercial interests. The nature of China’s changing relationship with the region, and implications for Canadian investors, will be a key focus of this session.
