10th Chinese American Film Festival Opening Ceremony

The Chinese American Film Festival (CAFF) is an independent organization which was founded in Hollywood, in 2005. The main purpose of the Film Festival is to demonstrate to the world how effectively the Chinese and American cultures can join together through the media of film to create unique and outstanding work. It also serves as a platform for international dialogue and collaboration in film education, film financing and film production.

Annually in November, the Chinese American Film Festival holds various events in Hollywood, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. It includes the Opening Ceremony–the Golden Angel Awards, movie screenings and special forums / meetings. More than 1,000 guests from the movie industry in the U.S., Europe and Asia are invited to attend the Opening Ceremony.

For the past ten years, the Chinese American Film Festival has been a great channel of communications between China and U.S. film industries. The event received great feedback and praises from top government officials and head executives of major studios and film corps.
