Isotope Research on Ancient Chinese Diets
Professor Zhang Xuelian will explore the reconstruction of ancient people's diets in China.
Zhang Xuelian is Professor and Director of the Radiocarbon Dating Laboratory of the Institute of Archaeology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Her reseach interests center on the reconstruction of ancient people’s diets through istotopic analysis, radiocarbon dating and the chronology of the Neolithic and Bronze Age in China, and the science and technology of the conversation of ancient artifacts.
