Authors on Asia: The East, the West and Sex: A History of Erotic Encounters
Beijing Bureau Chief Richard Bernstein will give a talk about his new book at the Pacific Asia Museum.
In his new book, the former New York Times correspondent and Time magazine Beijing Bureau Chief Richard Bernstein offers a rich and seductive narrative of the powerful erotic pull the East has always had on the West - a pervasive yet often ignored aspect of their long historical relationship - and a deep exploration of the intimate connection between sex and power.
This will be Mr. Bernstein's only speaking engagement in the area.
Books will be available for purchase and signing.
