The Huntington Library presents conductor Huang Ruo and the Future In Reverse (FIRE) ensemble.
Where
Hailed by The New Yorker as “one of the most intriguing of the new crop of Asian-American composers,” acclaimed composer and conductor Huang Ruo and members of the Future In Reverse (FIRE) ensemble will perform works from Ruo’s concert and film repertoire. Huang Ruo’s pieces draw inspiration from Chinese folk, Western avant-garde, rock, and jazz.
