Join Tasha Vorderstrasse, PhD, research associate at the Oriental Institute, to learn about the mini-exhibit Silk Road and Indian Ocean Traders: Connecting China and the Middle East. Ms. Vorderstrasse examines the history of the trade between China and the Middle East, focusing on the archaeological material in the Oriental Institute collections. She further discusses how China inspired craftspeople in the Middle East.
