This lesson is on the poem by Bai Juyi, The Song of Everlasting Sorrow. The lesson is intended to expose students to a nonwestern poetry traditions, as well as to expose students to nonwestern handling of themes such as love and regret. The lesson plan, materials, and resources are contained in the PDF attached. It is formatted specifcally for distance learning, since that is how I will most likely deliver this lesson next semester.
