ACLS Programs in China Studies

ACLS administers the Henry Luce Foundation/ACLS Program in China Studies and Comparative Perspectives on Chinese Culture and Society of the Chiang Ching Kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange.  

Since 2012, the Henry Luce Foundation/ACLS Program in China Studies has supported research, writing, and collaborative reading of texts by scholars in North America. It is funded by a generous grant from the Henry Luce Foundation, with additional funding for Early Career Fellowships (formerly Postdoctoral Fellowships) from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). 

The Luce/ACLS Program in China Studies holds Early Career Seminars for Luce/ACLS Fellows to discuss their work in progress and the changing conditions for research in China.
