Collaboration between the USC School of Cinematic Arts and Communication University of China yields films exploring contemporary life in Beijing and the surrounding countryside.
USC film student Thenmozhi Soundararajan and Communication University of China student Jane U produced this look at the interchange between a hip hop artist from Los Angeles and another from Beijing. They describe Jianghu 江湖 as referring to chaos, the wild west.
