Here is my unit lesson plan. It is the broad overview of the unit.
The next post are the individual lesson plans that make up this unit. These lesson plans involve the following: quiz show, poetry, four corner discussion, socratic seminar and/or fishbowl, and the culminating project.
You can use all the lessons, or just pick one or two to apply to your own lesson on WWII.
The last post is the works cited in the unit and lesson plans.
Thank you all for everything!
Best,

Attached are the activities that go with the 10th grade thematic unit.
I apologize for everything being crammed into one document. In the attached document are the following:
These are the individual lesson plans that go with the thematic unit.
The resource titled "The Write Way" is a resource offered through AVID, and is reproducible and reprintable without needing permission to reprint.

I also want to attach my citation of all the works utilized in my unit. It is attached.

Quite interesting, and nicely done. I may look to link this later in the spring with my sophomore reading of Night, by Elie Weisel. I try to have them reading it about the same time they are studying WW2 in history. Thanks for the ideas. I love a quiz show idea, but what I glean from your lesson plan looks more like what I refer to as a lit circle. I often use what I call a "Meet the Press" format, or a Jeopardy style game to review a novel prior to a test or end of unit. I like the idea of quiz shows. It adds fun and levity while helping those who have really "not" gotten it to be pulled along by those who have. The quiz show idea you posted appears to be a panel answering questions. Is that right? Please clarify. Perhaps I am missing something. Thanks.
For anyone interested: As part of a study tour to Korea a few years ago, I wrote a DBQ on the Sila Dynasty of Korea for World History AP

You are correct. It is more of a "Meet the Press" show. I should change the name to prevent any further confusion.
Thanks for the feedback.
