Semester and Academic Year terms are both available. The approximate dates are from Early September to mid-December for the Fall Semester, early February to early June for the spring semester and early September to early June for the year long program.
Minimum 3.0 USC Cumulative G.P.A.
Students must have completed a minimum of one year of college-level Mandarin Chinese or the equivalent.
All students are required to take Readings in Chinese (6 units), Spoken Chinese (6 units), and Contemporary Chinese Studies (3 units). Language instruction is available at all levels from intermediate to advanced.
Students may take extracurricular classes in subjects such as taijiquan, Chinese musical instruments, and Chinese cooking on a non-credit basis.
15 units per semester or 30 for the full year.
Mid-February for programs beginning in the fall, and in early October for programs beginning in the spring. Deadlines are subject to change.
