The Program for Teaching East Asia (TEA) at the University of Colorado Center for Asian Studies has an opening for a part-time (.5 FTE) Project Associate. This professional research position will contribute to current TEA K-12 education programs on China, Japan, and Korea. Principal responsibilities include: working with the TEA Director, project PIs, and Asian studies faculty on campus to design, deliver, and assess the impact of professional development programs in Asian Studies for K-12 teacher audiences; develop and implement communication and dissemination plans that highlight key project information via website, social media campaigns, and newsletter contributions; promote project-developed resources to targeted audiences of K-12 educators and the academic community; and conduct research required for grant development.
