Teng Junjie 滕俊杰 is Chief Editor and Secretary of Party Committee of Shanghai Media Group and a distinguished television and film director. He has directed hundreds of large-scale cultural programs, and was the general director of the 2001 APEC Summit Gala, the closing ceremony of the 2007 Special Olympics, and the 2010 Shanghai Expo Opening Ceremony. Recently, he’s been directing 3D film versions of famous Beijing Operas. The first was Farewell My Concubine (2014). He shot the third of these, Cao Cao and Yang Xiu this summer. Teng’s work has been widely hailed. Three times he’s received China’s highest cultural award.  He has twice received the "Best Director Award" given by the China State Administration of Radio, Film and Television.

Ernest J. Wilson III is dean of the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. He is also a professor of political science and a member of the National Academies' Computer Science and Telecommunications Board, and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He served on the board of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting for ten years, the last year as chairman. He served on the National Security Council and has consulted for the World Bank and United Nations.
