Composer Huang Ruo, the 2017 Cheng Family Visiting Artist at The Huntington, returns for an evening of discussion and performance accompanied by the acclaimed kun opera singer Qian Yi. Together they will explore Chinese opera in more depth, and look at the expressions, lyrics, and constructions that are unique to the art.
